1970 Ram air hood
Hello all,
I'm letting my 70 Olds W25 hood go and would like to know what is the value of it. It's original with the metal underneath and fiberglass on top. It has the mesh screen underneath also. The hood is in good shape. I placed it on my 72 convertible just to keep it off the ground for now.
Thanks for your input.

Well repops with steel liners go for around 700.00 nowadays. Since yours is original (OEM??) I would guess it should go for a little more. The problem is that now you can get these hoods without much effort. Try getting one for a 71/72. Thorntons is 2495.00 + shipping and OEM - I can't count that high.
The bottom line? Ask what you think is fair and remember these parts take a lot of storage space. $$ in your pocket is better than a hood in the garage - JMO though.

I know what you mean, my cave is full of reconditioned parts waiting to go back on the front end of my car. If I don't start getting it back together soon I won't have anywhere left to walk in there! Good luck with the sale, hope it works out for you.
