Ported "C" Heads, Ported Torker Intake

$1,000, plus shipping
Located in Fort Wayne, IN 46814

"C" Heads
  • Ported by Mike Yelvington, formerly with Reher-Morrison
  • Stainless Steel Valves: 2.072" intake, 1.625" exhaust
  • Hardened exhaust valve seats
  • 7/16" studs and guide plates for 3/8" pushrods
  • Dual valve springs (up to .600" lift), moly retainers and keepers
  • Bronze guides, milled for teflon valve seals

Torker Intake
  • Ported by Mike Yelvington, formerly with Reher-Morrison, to match heads

Aluminum Roller Rockers
  • Harland Sharp

Obviously everything needs to be cleaned up (tanked or media blasted), but all is in good working order. All this fit under a stock valve cover (I had removed the oil baffles, but don't know that I needed to).

Would you sell just the heads?

I would hate to separate the various components as they were all assembled to work together (intake ported to match heads, rockers work with those studs).

But as with everything else, you have to "follow the money". So it depends how much you're willing to pay for just the heads, as the price as a package makes sense, and selling the remainder by themselves will likely bring less money, and be harder to sell.

I'm thinking by themselves I'd have to get $750 for the pair.

Corrected post to update size of rocker arms studs. They are 7/16", not 3/8" as I originally posted.

Got some pics of the bowl side of the heads? and the ports? To shopw the porting and polishing job done on them?
thanks

I don't have any pics at the moment of the valve bowls, but I'll pull the valves from one of the cylinders in the next couple of days, spray things off with some brake clean (things are dark now with carbon deposits), and get some pictures so you can see the port job.

Here are some pictures... I took 10 of them... and in the process of uploading them 5 of them wouldn't go, and when I rebooted my phone, those 5 were gone.

Tried to clean off some of the carbon deposits, but some of it was pretty stubborn.

So here's what I have at the moment.

Bowls
