Leave the name calling at the door please. Its not tolerated here.

That being said I right thing to do IMO is refund the money and shipping since its not what was advertised.

It makes no difference if the seller knew the difference or not. Ignorance is not a good excuse. There are plenty of times I have made mistakes and just have to eat it because it was the right thing to do.

As far as this wheel transaction goes, I feel there were mistakes on both parties' end.

From all the previous posts, TimmyT has been mentioning details such as steering wheel cracks etc. etc. I don't feel he is deliberately trying to rip people off on our website here.

Sometimes, things do go wrong. I sent out a timing tab that I thought was from a 350 motor once. It turned out to be from a 307, and I refunded the money for my mistake.

He could have let Charles know the 2 rears were snap on centers.....AND Charles, you could have double checked to make sure all 4 he was going to send were bolt ins.

Technically, the bolt in style and the snap on centers are both SS2 wheels.

Charles, if you had a picture sent to you, there was a way to easily discern the two. Check out this thread from earlier in the week when John and I helped another member with this same I.D. issue. https://classicoldsmobile.com/forums...2-cutlass.html

The 15" bolt ins were only on 73 & 74 cutlasses from my experiences. Most of the 68-72 cars came with 14" wheels.
In fact, 68 & 69 car wheels were bolt in, 14" and came in gray only from my experience as well. So any 15" colored rim would be incorrect anyway.

The color-matching didn't start until 70-up I don't think.

Hopefully, you both learned more about these cars. Shake hands and be well, fellas.

Next in line behind Paladin for the air cleaner.
I will also like the "O" axle assembly, and the 10 bolt as well.

It's out of a 1969 Cutlass S. I'm not sure of the letter code. I have a sell pending, but if something falls through, I'll send you a PM of the letter code.
