Complete Olds Sport Steering Wheel $25
#41
Just an FYI for anyone undertaking a wheel changeover and is missing the pin to go up to the sport wheel contact. I got a pin for a storm door closer for like .70 at my local Ace Hardware that looked a lot like it would work. (My car had a Grant on it and had the wire not the pin) I pulled the wire out of the little plastic connector that holds the spring in and put the door closer pin in there instead. It was a little tight when I tried to put it in because the head was slightly large. I chucked the pin up in a drill and ran it against some sandpaper to reduce the size and it worked out perfect - works as good as a stock part IMO.

Out of curiosity are the base non-442 style steering wheels out of a 69 Cutlass worth anything? I have one in black with no cracks that I'd like to sell, but no idea of the value?
Thanks,
Bill

I have no idea on the value, mine is badly cracked on the neck? if that's what that area is called, and I won't do an epoxy repair there, because I believe that is where a lot of stress occurs while turning (manual steering). so if the price is right, I may be interested.
