Paint for my 63 F-85

There was a stock color in the early sixties that looked like a very pale purple mist color, bordered on pink but not a pink. There is a photo of a starfire in a book I have at home in that color. Absolutely beautiful.

Three thoughts jump out at once. 1) stock, 2) silver, or a derivative, 3) a dark metallic like dark carmine (my vote) or black sapphire. I'm thinking that a dark metallic would enhance and compliment the horizontal lines well. Possibly extending the length of the car visually. Just a bit of attitude, lots of class.

Olds64- I'm actually pretty set on redoing it the way it is white with the black hood, but the paint is tired so I need to redo it regardless of what color I choose.
csstrux- sounds classy indeed, dark blue metalic was one of my choices as well, and I was also thinking maybe a dark red metalic.
Oldsguy- I know the color, very nice indeed, but I don't think it fits me or the car
Thanks guys, any more ideas let me know, i've got till spring to decide.
