I have a 1987 cutlass supreme, which has the regular gauges. an i have seen the 442s with the floor shifters an all that good stuff with a diff gauge setup. so can you put that in a regular cutlass supreme?

Sure can!

There is a procedure here: Rallye Pac Conversion - G-body
http://www.442.com/oldsfaq/oldsfaq.htm

But there is a better one here:
http://tech.oldsgmail.com/
http://tech.oldsgmail.com/eint_rallye_swap.php

Also, visit Oldsgmail.com and look through the member co-founder's pages.
There is a slew of valuable info there for your G-body. Tom Lentz, especially.
If you still have questions, feel free to ask me. I did this swap in my 86 CS and had no issues. Great cars, just a bit low on power...

Nothing a good 350 or 403 won't fix!
