therostat housing help

Need a bit of help. I have just bought a 1956 oldsmobile super 88, 4 door hardtop, holiday with the 324 rocket v8. I pulled of the top radiator hose to replace it and the thermostat housing disintegrated! I have been trying to find a new thermostat housing but i cant find one. any help would be greatly appreciated. Also are there any good websites for buying olds parts?

I see lots of people tossing around "Fusicks" i dont know for sure what they have, yearone might have something, check ebay for good deals. i dont know, im still new to the whole parts finding thing lol. Once someone who has a car like yours gets online they will have lots of info for you.

Use one of these websites. They might be able to get you what you need. I doubt Fusicks or Kanter would carry something like that but you could always look.

EGGE.com should have everything you need to build that old motor from the ground up.
