Windshield Washer Button-Engine miss

When I push the winshield wash button on my 55 Super 88 air blows back though the button onto my hand and the engine misses. Anyone know what is going on and how to fix?? Thanks!!

Sounds like you have the vacuum powered wiper system, and you need a new switch. My friend has a 57 "88". same system. I'll talk to him and see what he has to offer. Untill then, start searchin'.
