Windshield and Dashpad for 62 Starfire?
Are these available?
If the windshield is available, will I need to install it myself?
Kinda new to these cars, just trying to get an idea how difficult it is to find parts.
Thanks!

All 1962 GM B-body cars of same body style use the same windshield. The Starfire equivalent is Impala so yes, windshield is available for both 2D HT and convertible. Any glass shop should be able to R&R your glass.
Dash pad? Different story. You'll have to either find a good used one and possibly dye it, or have yours redone by Just Dashes or other padded dash restorer. Same goes for the other interior soft trim.
Depends on what you're looking for. Lot of the Starfire-specific stuff is unobtainium. Fusick repops the scripts, side mirrors, and trunk lining, and JasWest in Canada reproduces the aluminum side panels. Not sure if he does both 1st and 2nd types or not, but his panels satisfied one of the fussiest Starfire guys around so no problem there. If you have a bad rear bumper it's tough to find a good replateable core.
Starfire shares much of its mechanicals with the other 1962 Olds big cars and there's also some crossover between 1961-63-64. Weatherstripping is identical to other 1962 GM B-body (Impala, LeSabre, Catalina/Bonneville) and is readily available from several sources.
Starfires are flashy and complicated cars and can get expensive to restore properly, but there's a large 62 community around who are great support.
