Does anyone have any info on how many 2 doors were built in 1986? I have yet to see one like mine.

98 coupes of that era are scarce. I'll try to remember to check production figures later. Is it a Regency or Regency Brougham?

Sorry for the delay. Time got away from me.
98 Regency Brougham coupe production for '86 was 5,007 according to Setting the Pace, printed by Oldsmobile Division. That is compared to a little over 95,000 Regency Brougham sedans. The non-Brougham coupes are really rare - 803. The also had a Grande package available in '86 on the Broughams. Special pigskin interior with a honkin' big armrest console (no shifter). And special composite lamps instead of sealed beams - a hint of what was to come for '87. Paul |
