What to Save From a 74 98 Two Door

I was hoping to save it, but the frame has rot, the mice have been through it thoroughly and I can't get the engine to turn over.

I'm going to keep the carb, the HEI distributor and the valve covers that have 'Oldsmobile' written on them. They are for my 66 Delta 88.

So, what else should I save? I have never had a car to part out before, I would hate to get rid of it and find out a few months later that someone needed a part that I didn't pull off.

I will post pics later.

Not too worried about condition. How about headlight bezels or steering wheel. Color? Thanks again, Mike

Steering wheel is a little rough. Here are the pics I took before it came home. I was planning on taking better ones, but my truck broke down this week and I was stuck in Illinois for a couple of days.

Perhaps I should start a parting out thread?

Pricing?

Sell as a whole (or most of the car)? I may be interested, as I want to turn a Delta 88 convertible into 98 convertible...I am not interested in the mechanical or the frame, but the rear clip and interior would definitely interest me...

Thanks,

Matt

You should take the engine and transmission as well. Any 455 and TH 400 are worth keeping around if you have the space.

Ditto! SAVE that Engine & Tranny! VERY SORRY to hear the car's not even in the "Frankenstein Category" to make road-worthy again?! So "Never Mind..." on my last Post about this "neat find" at least you TRIED to save it anyway! Good luck w/ your Parting.
