The 50th anniversary was the year they changed the body style and really cranked up the styling and performance. What does it look like? Hey I can do one better: watch this video from motor week 1991. It puts the big 91 Touring Sedan through its paces. This is one gorgeous car.

Talking Speak of the Devil

My little brother came over on Christmas and pulled in driving one of them nine eights.
He said it was a twenty-fifth anniversary model.
Not a car guy.

I didn't get to check it out much but it has alloy wheels and had gold emblems on the fenders until he took it to the repair place he bought it from and somebody ripped them off, the mechanic also scratched the fender.
I know it has a "new" engine because the place he bought it from put it in before they sold it to him.
He's been having trouble with the passkey reader or something but I think that's fixed, the driver information panel keeps flashing things but he figured out how to override it.

Leather interior,what color, beats me?
The car is for sale and he has no idea what it's worth, not looking to make a killing.
He's a free spirit single type with no kids, does Star Trek conventions and works at the medieval fair as a king, speaks Klingon.

I have no idea either what it may be worth and my wife won't let me buy it because I told her not to.
500 bucks and I may go for it though?

He said it has a V-6, I honestly have no idea and who knows what it may have going by him?
It's not in bad shape from what I saw but I had to look quick.

I just bought a 1991 50th anniversary 98 from the original owner. All original paint with 132,000 miles . Well cared for with all paperwork ,including the window sticker . The 50th anniversary option cost $1,745. Mine is black with tan leather . Very nice car . I would like to find out production numbers. Can't find anything on it.

I will have to see if I can find the paperwork but it said they made 1000 of them. I may have given that paperwork to the guy that bought my 91 442. Can you post pictures of the car? Would like to see it.
