Good Evening from Fayetteville NC!

My name is Joel and I'm new to Classic Oldsmobile. I have a '69 442 Holiday Coupe that currently moves with a 455/TH400 combo. (my buddy just picked it up for me yesterday....long story but it's in another state) I'll have to see about getting some photos added later. This is the 3rd (that I can remember) Oldsmobile that I've owned, the 1st was a '71 Cutass S 350/auto and 2nd a '66 Dynamic 88 425 Switch Pitch auto, all 2dr hardtops. I tend to be more of a performance person that one that likes bone stock factory but appreciate all.

I will be looking for some guys/gals that have converted to running a 2004R overdrive as I plan on keeping the 3.91 gears in my 442!

Welcome to CO Joel. Sounds like a nice car. Cannot wait for the pictures. I installed a 200r4 in my car last summer. It made a huge difference in the drivability of my car. I am in Fuquay Varina. Glad to have another Olds Guy in the area.

Thanks Sampson. Who did you trust to build your 200-4r? Local shop or ?
