New Oldsmobile fan from Michigan
Just wanted to say hello, I have owned many oldsmobiles through the years. Presently I have a 65 Cutlass and 84 Hurst.
I have raced them, and played around on the street. The 65 is currently having a new motor installed. The 84 is apart having some repairs done(in storage waiting for me to have time). Grand Ledge, Mi Bud |

Pic of the white 65 is the car that I have now, putting another motor into it.
2nd pic is of my daughters 84 hurst, and installing a new t-top section into 3rd pic of my race 65 that I sold last year, dynoed 740hp. car ran 10:50, weighting in a 3900lbs with driver(my big butt).

I have been to every homecoming in Lansing. I live 1 mi from where they have it. We'll have to hook up next summer, I work afternoons and 7 days a week right now.. but it slows up about February. I used to work 7 days year around, but the economy was slowed that up. ![]() Bud

Too bad about the neck thing and I can feel what you went through. Sometime soon I have to get 2 discs removed from my neck and have 3 fused together , then doc is putting in a steel plate with screws to hold it all together.

Did you have a car there this year? - you must know the guy that used to live out by Williamston that had a gold colored Cutlass that he raced - he didn't live too far from me, but I never met him - I think you guys were parked together at the show at the old engine plant - this post has some pictures from this years show - http://classicoldsmobile.com/forums/...-michigan.html - like to have my 65 done for next years show - got three cars I'm working on and with the economy the way it is they are all sitting idle!! - maybe I'll get lucky and hit the lottery this winter!! ![]() ![]() ![]() |

Hi Bud442. Welcome. Great bunch of guys & gals on this site. Good to see some Oldsmoblires from Michigan. I live in Windsor, but work in Detroit. My job takes me all over Michigan, and I even know where Grand Ledge is...Very nice cars. Hope to see you at the Olds show in Lansing.

Hi Bud,
From your sig pic I can see you are the guy who was selling the Oldsmobile Bricks over on ROP. I'm not a member there, but lurk occasionally. Anyway, I caught you at the homecoming this year and grabbed a couple of bricks from you--thanks a bunch!
