Okay now the questions begin....
I want to replace the OE (cruddy) speakers and stereo in this thing, but I can't seem to figure out how to remove the rear deck speakers.
There is no access from the trunk, so I need to figure it out. The buzzing is driving me nuts!! Also, Is there a way to adjust the window glass in the doors? WIth the window up on the drivers side, you have to slam the door to get it to latch. It's not sagging, but it's tough to close.... |

Nice car...To get the rear speakers out you have to remove-from the trunk side-those covers that surround the speakers and continue from there, I have an '84 Regency and that is the route I took..as for the glass-take the door panel off and then you have to adjust the for and aft horizontal sliders up or down to get the glass to rotate forward or rearward as required...easy...after you have played with it for a weekend..

Nice car! Looks like all it really needs is a vacuuming and you will be ready to go for the summer show and shines.

Thanks guys!
She does look good. I need some of the urethane trim pieces for between the body and bumpers, but other than that, it's a clean car. As for the vacuuming, unless I vacuum it daily, it's gonna look like that. We live in Ocean Park Wa and are surrounded by trees. She's getting a new upper rad hose and t-stat tommorow. The hose is a may pop, and the t-stat is stuck open....(brrrr) She was owned by a Dr. who died a few months ago. Kinda strange holding a title signed by a dead person. She signed the car over to the Pacific County Community Emergency Response Team as a donation for them to sell and buy new equipment with the funds from the car. For $500 bucks, she runs, drives and moves on down the road. |
