new Olds Owner

I just bought a 1969 Cutlass Sport off of ebay, have not received it yet, they say tomorrow. This has been my dream car for many years and just decided to go ahead and do it, you only live once. This actually is not the exact one I wanted and I told my friends on facebook that it was a 442 and was almost instantly shot down, I guess I wish it was a 442, but I could not afford that one and opted to go with the body style , not knowing that they were not all 442's and are mostly Cutlass's. I also collect Hot Wheels and recently got the one I was missing from 1969-1988, it of coarse is a 442, I payed $400 for it. Kind of crazy for a little car, but it is the only one I have been missing for many years. Dan

Yes... except for the 88 Ciera which I recently donated and that list doesn't include my non-Olds daily drivers... Remember, he who dies with the most toys wins...

Nice Olds!! Enjoy what you have and don't spend any time wishing for something else!! Life is short! Enjoy the moment with your new OLDS. Love the color combination. Sure to draw a crowd! If you hit a snag with your resto, there are plenty of enthusiasts on this site to see you through.

That's a beautiful car, a real survivor. I agree with the others that you should keep it unmolested. After all, it's only original once.

Welcome to Oldsmobile ownership! It is a decision you will not regret. Have fun with your ride and if possible, keep it stock original or as close to it as possible (tweeks are cool). You won't be disappointed.
