reproduction seat belts

Does anyone know where I can get reproduction seat belts for a '68 442 with a front bench seat? I'm guessing they're all the same for 68-72 GM A-body cars. I saw that I can get ones for a Chevelle at Ground Up, but I'm not sure if they'll work with the bench seat.

Or, anyone have a nice set of black seat belts for a front bench model?

Thanks

Well, it looks like The Parts Place carries them. Definitely not cheap, but it at least allows me to buy them in sections. I'll just get the front belts first and go from there.

Do you have some that just need cleaning?

I believe I have a few extra rear, black right?

Deluxe [chrome] or reg [plastic]?

I actually have none whatsoever. I have no idea what the previous owner did with them. Guess he took 'em out and never put them back in.

Yes, black. I think I'm just going to go with the regular black plastic for the front. I kinda like the way they look, although the Deluxe are nice too. Thanks.

I have read. I'll also probably re-dye the belts black. I think I've read a few pointers on restoration over the years. The hardest thing is if the belts are frayed or dry-rotted or if the chrome is pitted.

Thanks for checking for me. I appreciate it.

seatbelt fit and dyeing

Two questions:

1) Does anyone know if bucket seat belts are the same as the bench seat or if they're different?

2) Has anyone dyed a set of seat belts from one color to another? Going from blue to black, so to me it should be fairly simple. Plus it's easy to buy and replace the blue seatbelt caps with black ones.

Thanks.

My '71 Vista Cruiser's seat belts are all the same length front and rear including the shoulder belts.

I will also eventually need a seat belt for my 71 98; however, I need to do one project at a time. I know for a fact you can get reproductions from Kanter.
