I purchased a new carpet from NOS reproductions up here in Canada. Graphite Black, within 5 years the color turned an ugly greenish color. I still haven't replaced it , just wondering have you guys had similar experience with carpets ? My carpet needs replacing again soon I'm getting sick of the color.
Thanks
Eric

I went with these guys for carpet for my '73 Custom Cruiser. Highly recommended.

Here's the result. I think the carpet looks great.
The front seat had just been reupholstered and reinstalled also.

To be honest, I went with a redder color than what was original. The original was more of a beige/saddle color, like this, called "Ivy Gold". You can see the original carpet along the bottoms of the doors and kick panels in the photos above. Remember that those panels were 37 years old at the time, so they're a darker and faded over what they looked like when new. I did not change out those trim pieces.
I wanted a bit different look, so I went with a maroon like this:
Both of the above are under the "factory match" color selector on the Vark website. There are only about half a dozen colors to choose from for my car using the factory match choice. If you go with the "all color options" choice, there are dozens to choose from.

I think most any vendor would be willing to send free swatches of a few different colors to help in choosing.

Yeah my 82 custom cruiser has the brown interior and while im not sure if ill be able to find any left over stock seat fabric (only need to do one seat) the carpet in the front is a totally different color than the stuff in the 3rd seat haha...thats 32 years of fade...Whats really a bummer is all the delta 88's and wagons i find after 85 I think went to a darker color brown, mine has more red in it, but I like the color you have in yours thats about what im looking for. Gonna have to order a few samples
