Removing door panels

I am trying to remove the passenger side door panel and I have removed all levers, screws, fittings but I am stuck as I don't know how the remove the top portion of the door panel and I do not want to damage it in the process. Any special tools needed?

Pull door panel away from door at bottom, using proper pry tool to pull out plastic pins. As you free it up from the bottom, you'll be able to slide the entire door panel upwards, to get top of door panel out of window track.

Put the window down because sometimes it can catch on it and make it more difficult.

Steve, I did all of that but it seems hard to pull the top portion off the door and I do not want to damage the door panel in the process. Are they any plastic pins under the top portion of the door panel?

There is probably a plastic pin a few inches down from the window track on each side.

Year and model of the car you are working on always makes it easier for people to help you with what you are doing.
