1969 N34 Deluxe Steering Wheel

I finally got my hands on one! Now I'll have to dye it unless someone wants to trade me a black for this blue one.

How deep is that wheel, from the edge of the column to the far side of the wheel?

I'll dye it black that SEM stuff works really good, glad you got em.
Eric do you want the measurement from where it meets the column to the top of the center cap or to the top of the outer grip portion? I just took it apart to clean clean clean.

To the top of the outer grip portion.

I kind of like it, and want to know whether to keep my eyes open for one for my car.

Thanks,

- Eric

Thanks!

Same as my stock wheel.

I had wanted to use a wheel I saved from a '68 I junked years ago, but it was too deep - would have stuck into my gut.

I'll watch got one of those - they're sharp.

So I have delved into the Vinyl dye realm I think it came out pretty good. SEM stuff works pretty good I used Dawn dish soap, Marine clean, SEM Soap, Wax and grease remover then SEM Vinyl Prep. One thing about old soldiers we can clean anything....
So to paint I used SEM Classic Coat GM Black.

The center plastic button is a bit scratched up.

Here are the BEFORE

That came out real nice Newman!!

I used the SEM landau black to do a seat cover and a console and I've been impressed w the look and durability.

If you think of it report back after using it for a while on how it holds up
