68 arm rest length

Why are my 68 442 arm rest longer than what Im used to seeing in other A-bodies?

There's a difference between the Cutlass S/4-4-2 and Cutlass Supreme 2-door arm rests. The Cutlass Supreme armrests are longer. That might explain the difference.
