'67 dash improvement

Gentlemen,
My '67 CS Conv dash is looking worn. The annodized top section has several wear spaces and any pollishing seems to take away any shine. Is there a replacement available? Is the black ribbed lower dash material available? I may want to cover the tops section as well.
What has been the solution to making it look better?
Has anybody tried silver paint?

Thanks

Hotrodder.

P Went to Oldsmar Cruise. many great cars, but rin of Sat cancelled the parade and park car show. I was the only'67 there.

You do realize this is just one big molded plastic piece, right? The black is paint, as is the silver. The "chrome" is vacuum deposited aluminum on the plastic.

Joe, Didn't realize that it was plastic, It is still installed on the "dash", so I may try to mask off, then spray aluminum paint lightly until "renovated".
Or is this crazy talk?

Unless you're looking for an expensive restoration then paint is your option
