Painting Windlace

I,m feeling brave this spring and plan on installing a new headliner in my 70 Cutlass Supreme, my question is what color and paint process would you recommend I paint my windlace trim? It's a little discolored and may be a little warped and shrunk. Should I maybe even start with replacement windlace? I have pearl shaded seats.
Thanks for any info.

Since nobody has answered, my amateur opinion is to get matching windlace from whoever supplies the headliner. That said, SEM can be used for paint.

The reproduction wind lace is smaller than the original stuff, and does not have the metal insert in them.

The other option is to find a better set or originals and dye them.

SEM does not have Pearl paint.

Some of the parts vendors have it - I do know the Parts Place has Pearl.

I had my body guy spray my wind lace on my W-30. Turned out great. I have no idea what he used but I know it can be done. If you can match the color a good body guy is going to know what to mix for the flexibility.
