wondering what experiences youguys have had with the aftermarket weatherstrip companies?? which ones to stay away from, and the famous question: whats the best one for a decent price??? the actual GM ones arent quite in my budget right now, i've seen a few in the 300-400 dollar range, and i havent read good things about softseal. I know theres a Metro brand and Steele rubber to name a few. any help would be great!!

 

I've only heard good things about Steele Rubber. I plan on ordering a weatherstripping kit from them for my 71 98 in the future.

 

I ordered weather stripping from Steele Rubber about 2 years ago. Fantastic service! What I received was not exactly correct. I marked it, and sent it back to them (on their nickel, at their request), and they reshipped new product that fit perfectly! Great folks to talk w/over landline, and they have great customer service.
