Front and rear springs for 61-62 full size
Has any one ever replaced there front or rear springs on their cars and if so, which ones did you use and where did you get them? Rock Auto lists front ones but no rears . I can bottom out my front ones almost by hand. Also need a cross reference for shocks if possible. Thanks

I purchased shocks for my 64 Olds 98 from Fusicks years ago. They also carried front and rear springs but I decided not to replace mine. I did however purchase a front end kit from Kanter and replace the bushings and ball joints.

I replaced my front and rear springs. I went the after market route and go the Hotchiks suspension kit. It cam with front and rear springs and front and rear sway bars. I purchased it from Summit. I didn’t see anything for 61-62.

Just ordered a set of front springs from Fusick's (you can also get rear springs there as well). I like the fact they are cut to specifics for your Olds (cut to order), unlike many other parts houses that are for the wide range of GM cars (all A-bodies, for instance). Should give the proper ride heighth to your vehicle.
