I have a pile of bumpers in the back yard. Was wondering what I could get for cores if I were to take them to a swap meet. Would Bumper Boyz or someone like that pay anything for them? All 68 Cutlass/442.

One of those big re-chrome places offered me $50 for a straight 56 Chevy rear bumper core at the Big3 meet last year. They might do the same for an Olds, but the demand for them is nowhere near the same.

Yes Bumperboyz will buy them, just give them a heads up before the meet.

They are worth more than $50. The guy at Bummer Boyz justified ripping me off at Puyallup last year by telling me he was paying $75 to $100 for cores. He charged me over $500 for a 69 442 (with hammered out cutouts from using a straight bumper). A rookie mistake by me when I could have purchased better quality for much cheaper elsewhere.

The advantage to a big rechromer buying your inventory is that the bumpers are GONE, hard to sell cores individually...

One thing to remember is if there is a reproduction bumper available for a particular application it devalues the core bumper worth.
