Who was in Astoria Oregon today?
I was on my way to work and I happened to pass by (in the opppsite direction) a 79-85 model..... in the color of green.
It would have been about noon-ish almost one across from Annies Tavern. The person waved, so he must have recognized my 'Nado..... I waved back, but I don't think they saw me.... |

I wish I was there, but I am stuck down in hot humid Texas...
I am usually there a few days in the fall during a routine tour of the NW coast. Astoria has hit home with me since I saw it in my favorite movie "The Goonies" many years ago. It is still a favorite plkace, even years later. I have also seen some unique cars there, too. Two years ago I saw a red 1980 Pinto! I remember passing by Annies several times - I need to go check that place out next time. ![]() I will be there again this year in November, so I will keep my eyes peeled for a Toro! ![]() You are SOOOO lucky to live there! I may, too, after i retire....

I live in Ocean Park Washington, 38 miles north of Astoria, Ore.
I work in Astoria though. Tongue Point Job Corps Center. Just keep your eyes peeled for my Toro. I usually work swing shift, so I will be cruising thru around 2-3PM. Once the Jeep is up and running, the Toro will become the back-up car and won't be driven as often.... |
