Hope to add another Olds to fleet
If all goes well, I will be the proud owner of a really nice '71 Cutlass 4 door this weekend. It has a little over 60,000 miles and a 350 Rocket engine. Looking forward to making a "sleeper" out of it. I looked in the Summit catalog and Olds parts are not so plentiful. Where would be a good place to find a stock cast iron 4V intake? Thanks! Anybody know the HP rating for a '71 350 2V????

For the intake, I would post a parts wanted ad on www.442.com . I bet you someone will contact you with one for a decent price within a short time.

KustomKruiser: Welcome to the best Olds site! Glad for your purchase, and especially glad to see someone jump in with a late model CC. We have a '92, and absolutely love it! Will be taking it from Dallas to Seven Springs, PA for the 2009 OCA Nationals this July. GREAT road car, @ 27 MPG. But of course, I'm preachin' to the choir!

My Cruiser gets around 24 mpg. I really like it. I just sold my little hot rod, a '76 Volare wagon with a built 360. It seems like I was always fixing rust on it. Great little car and I liked it, but it was time for something different. I am getting my CC ready to paint, I have an '81 Ford F100 stepside to fix up a little after the CC, and now this '71. Lot to do this Spring/Summer and probably beyond.
Thanks, I will check out the 442 site for an intake.
