Pep boys 4 core copper radiator.

I left them a review letting them know about the aluminum unit fiasco.
I did drop it in the 70 to see how it fit. Fit tight, fit right. A few pics
for you guys with the 68-72 Olds A bodies.

Here it is again. Hopefully they get it right this time if anyone dares...

Not trying to rub it in, really. They have the sale back on, just trying to help. Honest Injun.

wow, looks like a great option, especially the nice price. But for those looking for a stock replacement the filler tube is on a 45 degree angle which is correct for 1971 and after. 1970 and earlier have an almost horizontal fill tube.

The radiator linked still shows a spec sheet for the aluminum radiator...

When I purchased mine, I let them know if it wasn't a 4 core copper unit,
JUST LIKE THE ONE PICTURED, don't send it. Worked for me.

Did you talk to someone at the customer service or someone at a store?

I didn't. I half expected them to refund my $. They took it, through PayPal and
I had the radiator within a week. I had my *** covered with my message to them
and by paying with P/P. I figured it was worth a shot.

Oh. Gotcha.

Now your car had a 4 row, and this is identical in size, right?

For the 70 442, yes. I got it for the 66, it has a 4 core, but it should be a 3, I think.
I have an old 3 core I may take to the radiator guy for it and save this one for the
69 or 70. I should be set on radiators, ha.

Makes sense. I originally wanted to upgrade from my factory 2 row radiator to a 3, but I can't find a place that sells a copper 3 row(which would fit into my original equipment mounts), but I'll end up trying the 2 row aluminum radiator replacement. Hopefully it'll work well, hopefully better than my OEM copper one.

Have you ordered it yet? If not and want to go with a 3 core that needs a rad man,
let me know what O/D you need for the lower hose. I may have a original, I have a few
if you need one. I'm just not sure what the measurements are without checking.
