Anyone here on Second Life?

Saw a show about a guy's wife divorcing him because he met a chick on Second Life and married her. It's a game. Anyone here on it. Sounds kinda neat.

I was watchin a report on those games. Pretty strange living your life in a virtual world but that's reality to them. On Facebook they have a dog character you can create and live in a little world. Like those electronic pets kids have where you have too feed it and take care of it or it will get sick or die. Have your own house and you can furnish it, visit friend critters, the whole nine yards. Our daughter moved to NC last and has been looking for a job and we've been supporting her, finally found one this week. She has a little Facebook critter that she forgets about being so busy and all so my wife registered and now has her own little dog. She competes in races and contests to win "money" and goes to the store and buys supplies. She then goes over to my daughter's virtual house and takes her food and plays with her to make her happy, gives her gifts that she can sell for food and clothes. The virtual world and the real world aren't much different here, Mom is Mom.

I play in a virtual world and my character is exactly like me only he has a goatee.

The real world and my real toys take up all of my time. Can't carve out any extra time for a second life. Maybe being 63 years young has something to do with it. Computer is a tool & means of communication for me not for games.

Pat,

You ever go to the Puget Sound Chapter's Zone Show? It's a pretty good show and they have some good people there.

We'll look forward to welcoming you if you make it. It's a pretty good show and even the Mayor shows up and hands out an award. I'll probably post the flyer here to let the border state's Oldsmobile owners come up if they want to.
