Correct tire size

Does anybody know what the correct tire size would be have been on the 1973 olds. The past owner has 3 different sizes on the car and not sure what size tire to get. The rims are 15.

Thanks. The past owner had P235 70415, P215 70 R14 and P235 70R15. I don't know if he has 15' and maybe a 14" rim on this car. I guess the rim will be stamped with the rim size? And if he has 15" on it would it throw off my speedometer not having the right size rim? As you can tell I don't know what I'm doing and relying any help I can get.

those are different size rims, you can keep the 14 in rims on the front and put the 15s on the back. Tire size is personal preference for most (within reason, the tires have to fit the rim) A nice size 15 tire for the rear is 255/55/15 or 255/45/15. The fronts can be taller like 235/70/15 or on the 14 inch rims 225/70/14
