Olds 98 rear powerwindow?

Hi

I need help with information how to best take the rear electric window motor out from a Oldsmobile 98 Convertible 1967. Grateful for any help.

Hi lars, welcome to the site. I saw your question yesterday but held back from replying because I don't want to monopolize all the posts. But I hate for anyone's questions to go unanswered, especially new people. I really don't have a specific answer for you. My initial guess would be if you can get the back door interior panel off it would give you an idea of the mechanics of the whole thing. I am sorry for the feeble attempt but nobody should go without even a "how do you do".

Thank you for the answer and the welcome, Oldsguy. I appreciate the try.

Well, the sides of the interior is off, and i don´t get any smarter. It is four bolts that seems to hold everything, but what happen´s if i loose everything? Those things can be tricky to get in place again when they are out if that is not the correct way to do it.

So, if anyone else know´s anything, please let me know. And thank´s again Oldsguy.

Lars

How about if you use some really strong tape to hold the glass in place and slowly loosen some of the bolts, if the glass starts to drop you know to not loosen those bolts, maybe...?
