I doubt there is a measurement available for that. I am sure the engineers knew what it was, but a coil either works or it doesn't. Take the coil wire off and ground it to the frame or engine, then have a buddy crank the engine over. IF you see your coil wire sparking then it is good. If it doesn't spark then your coil might be bad.

The general specs in the chassis electrical section in my '71 service manual shows primary resistance for a V-8 coil at 75 degrees is 1.77 to 2.05 Ohms. The secondary resistance is .6500 to 9500 Ohms.
Not sure if they would be the same for yours or not.

a resistance test isn't that reliable of an indicator. sure, it will show a hard-short, but since we're talking about something that is essentially a step-up transformer, the only way to test for breakdown would be a high-voltage probe. those aren't very common these days. if you're in doubt about your coil-just replace it.
