Alternator Rebuild

Does anyone on here rebuild alternators? I'd like to know a thing or 12 about it. I have been running the same Delco alternator for 10 years and it's still going along strong for now. It would be nice to be able to rebuild it properly
(sans taiwan junk) when its number is up though.

I recently rebuilt the alternator that came with my engine and transmission. Unfortunately, the bearings were bad and I never purchased a rebuild kit to replace them. I think you can get a rebuild kit at your local auto parts store that comes with new brushes and bearings. They are pretty simple devices. It is essentially stupid proof.
