Heater Control Valve Elec. terminal?

Any idea where I can find the screw-in electrical terminal for a heater control valve? I think I read it can be just be grounded out, as it only shuts off the HW flow during air conditioning. Screws into the end, and has a spade type connector that mates with the one draped over the valve in the pictures. Thanks in advance.

The one that looks like this?

You're looking for GM part #6490081 (if it's the one-terminal switch).

It is sold by Airtex through the usual outlets as Airtex #1T1040.

You can get it for $85, $50, or $36, your choice, or you can just ground that wire to leave "Low Fan" permanently enabled and be done with it.

Excellent, Thanks Doc.
Can you tell me what the impact to my heating, cooling system is if I do just ground it out?

Grounded: You have all fan speeds, Low through High, all the time.

Open: You have all fan speeds when the engine coolant temperature is above 40°F, below that you have no Low speed.
