1991 delta 88 won't start when hot

my 1991 Olds 88 will stall (engine dies) after driving for 10 - 15 minutes or won't start after turning off engine. It will start after cooling down for a few minutes and run for a while again. The starter turns over the engine but won't start.
This started after the new fuel pump was installed. I checked the fuel pressure when it won't start and got reading of 35 - 40 lbs. I had a new coil pack installed. The engine runs very smoothly and easily passed the smog check here in Califonia just before the fuel pump was changed. The spark plug wires were recently changed.
Any ideas about which electrical component might be causing the problem?
