Lights Not Working

On a 1970 Cutlass/442 the courtesy, map and mirror lights are not working. All of the other lights work. I checked the bulbs and fuses and they tested was working. Help!!!!

Take a look at the taillights. If memory serves me correctly (does not always happen at my age), I think the dash lights are on the same fuse as the taillights. Check the fuse and I bet you will be okay.

You have a broken wire, bad connection, or relay problem between the fuse box and battery power. That circuit does not go through the headlight switch or the ignition switch, though it may jumper off of the headlight switch connector.

Thanks for the help! I dug in and found it was a harness that came disconnected behind where the clock/tach goes. It must have come apart when I put the radio back in after I had taken it out to replace a bulb.

Glad you got it fixed. After I read the post again, I notice you did not ask about dash lights. Somebody on here usually gives the correct advice.
