Converted Alternator Help
I took the car out last night and it ran great. Now when I tried to start it this morning no good battery is dead. It has a brand new battery and the belt is tight. The car was converted to internal reg. before I bought it. My alternator has the power wire going to the post on the back of the alternator and the (white plug) red wire looping over to the post also. I have been looking up conversions on the net. From what I have found is that I am missing a wire blue or brown running from the old ext reg. which should also be in the plastic plug. What I need to know is where I would find that wire in the engine compartment. There is one wire in the loom running along the carb but it was brown I think is was orange. Pics of anyones converted alt. would help alot. thanks for any help Pete
