Wire colors for '55 88 brake and turn out of column.

I'm hoping someone can tell me what are the colours of the brake light wires and the turn signal wiring on a '55 88. I have ordered a shop manual, but that will be a week away.

I need to separate the brake/turn and need to run a new wire but am trying to sort out what is what out of the column so I don't stuff it up.

Does anyone have a shop manual that they can tell me what I colour wire I'm chasing. Also does anyone know where it is that both wires become one? As if I could find this juncture I could just start from there with a new turn wire.

I need this for registration and safety here, as no cars use the brakes for turn signals and the chance of getting rear ended would be so much higher.

Plan is to use the reverse lights as turn signals.

thanks.

Where are you located? Sounds like the laws aren't too hot rodder friendly. Sorry, I am not sure about the wiring in your car.
