Question Advice on nice hubcaps

First and foremost..
I am not here in this area trying to sell anything,i am only wanting advice on what to do with these hubcaps and figured this forum would be best for the advice.

I have a set of(4) really nice Delta 88 hubcaps off of a 1968.

These were take offs from a 1968 Delta 88 back in 1972 or so when my father bought a wrecked delta 88 to se the 425 and trans to swap into his 64 olds cutlass S when the 330 finaly gave out in it.

Thye are in really sweet shape since they have litteraly jst sat on a shelf in my father's garage up until a few years ago when i cleaned his garage out for him, since then they have been just sitting in my shop.

My question is..
Would they be worth my time trying to sell them?..if not,my wife and i have side hobby of making and building crafts and i like to make clocks out of antique things and these would be a pretty nice clock, but in a sense hate to damage them for a clock since they are so nice...

Here's a pic of one i pulled off the shelf to take a pic,you can see how nice they are and i haven't even touched them as far cleaning or anything.

Clocks?? or clean them up and put them up for sale??

Well, you can do whatever with them. They're actually from 1967, not 68. Someone probably just popped them onto that Delta because they needed a set.

Here's a GM ad from 67 showing the covers.

Note the difference in 1968

These are actually wheel covers, not hubcaps. I can believe you missed that Allan. I doubt there is going to be much demand for them.

Since they are nice and a set, feel free to list them in the for sale section of this site.
If the price is reasonable, they may sell easily and help out with someones resto.
List it for a month - reply to the post once a week (if no activity) to keep it on top.
If they do not sell, they would make nice clocks. Someone here may even want one!

Ah, Glenn. Go back and take a look - I referred to them as 'covers'. You also have a keen eye to those details my friend. In retrospect I should have referred to them as wheel covers though.

These wheel covers are correct for any 67 Oldsmobile equipped with 14" wheels.
