'63 Dynamic Rear Shocks
Hi everybody, does anybody out there know what length the rear shocks should be on a '63 Dynamic 4dr sedan. The shocks on my car have been changed to air shocks by the previous owner and measure 20" long (centre to centre). These seem to be virtually on full extension at ride height which does not seem right. I saw a pair of shocks on e-bay from a '63 Starfire which said they were 22.5" long (centre to centre). Is this the correct length? Any help would be good. Thanks

Hi Aris, The Starfire socks are the same as far as I know. You should be able to pick up a set off of ebay. I got mine off of there. they are not NOS GM shocks, but they were good quality gas shocks. You might have to keep looking on there for a bit as they are not on there all of the time. Cheers!! Greg
