Welcome to our site. I don't know about production numbers for your car. They were pretty BOSS though. You should be able to use performance parts for the supercharged Pontiac Bonneville from the mid 90s. I believe both these vehicles used the supercharged 3800 V6. I am not sure if there is much available though.

We have a '97 LSS which has mostly been a good car. Very low production numbers I believe; less than 1% of 88's were an LSS. (luxury sport sedan) 3.8 f.i. V-6 was standard, and only available options were an electric moonroof, chrome alloy wheels and a supercharged V-6. They are well equipped otherwise.
Watch out for the dreaded 2 piece intake manifold that leaks coolant. Ours hydro-locked when a bunch of dex-cool wound up in the crankcase from a failed intake manifold. The f.i. models with the 2 piece plastic manifold are prone to gasket failure. The supercharged models had an alloy intake which is more stout. Search online for info on a class action suit concerning these intakes. I hear GM is reaching a settlement in the case. Good Luck with yours! ![]()
