1962 Olds Starfire Posi

How do I identify if a rear is posi by the numbers on the rear end of a 62 Starfire?

Straight from a '61 manual.. It should have a letter "L" next to a number. Numbers are 2 7 8 9 or 0.... Here it goes..2 = 2.69.... 7 =2.87 ...8 = 3.42.... 9= 3.23.... 0 = 3.08...Probably the same numbers for a '62
