Pics of My 68 "Ram Rod" Clone

Here are some pics of My Ram Rod clone, complete with RamAir, trumpet exhaust and a neat paint scheme. It is gettin a 4 speed and a complete rebuild with Edelbrock components (estimated 400 hp). What do you guys think? I picked it up in Long Island and it is as clean on the top as it is on the bottom.

The Ram Air set up was with the car when purchased but I think Year One is repopping most of this stuff except for the air cleaner and mounting brackets and tubing. Good luck! This was one of the reasons I bought the car. It was sooo clean and had all the stuff there. Now it gets a nice high horsepower engine and an M20. Thanks for the props. I LOVE this car!

Thumbs up Wow

IMO a nice touch would have been painting the rally`s the same color as the stripes. Still looks fab.

If mine was a post I bet thats how it would've looked when started the resto. Your ride looks very nice. Clean and sits good too. How many miles? I went by my car Friday and it is almost done. Painting the MSD box, exhaust, and a few minor things left. I'm getting antsy I must admit although I have this to drive while I wait.

Wowsers!!
Nice work and great attention to details. Love the ram rod decals on the fenders and the air can. This is definitely a time machine. I remember these when they were new, only then I couldn't make all the pedals work and still see over the dash.

Revisiting this post and looking at the pictures again I noticed something I like a lot. The Doctor Olds label on the firewall.
