10 Things I hate about classic Oldsmobiles!!!

I have recently acquired a 1972 Oldsmobile Cutlass "S" and it has not taken long for me to find out that there are ten things that I hate about not only my Oldsmobile but others as well:

1. I hate that whenever I drive my Oldsmobile I feel like I am cheating on my girlfriend with the "Helen" of our day.

2. I hate that I can talk about classic Cutlasses all day with no stop (other people hate this too).

3. I hate that whenever I look at a classic Cutlass I get more teary eyed then an audience watching Titanic for the first time.

4. I hate that I would probably take a bullet for a Cutlass (I would not take a bullet for most people, yes that includes my mom--just kidding mom).

5. I hate that whenever I drive my Cutlass I feel invincible and want to just dare police to catch me!

6. I hate that classic Cutlasses make most other cars look like garbage (yes I am including Ferraris and other foreign made cars).

7. I hate that my Oldsmobile 455 engine makes my car look like the Governator and import cars look like Leonardo DiCaprio.

8. I hate that classic Cutlasses are so stuck up just because they are a cut above the rest.

9. I hate that classic Cutlasses will not let anyone drive them but must choose you to drive them. They are very picky!

10. Most importantly, I hate how classic Cutlasses will make anyone who drives one look cooler than James Dean.

If there is anything you would like to add please be my guest.

Is this a inherited Thing? Are you driving your Fathers OLDS? Did your mother have her own Olds ? I Must warn my children!

Naw. It was not inherited. However ever since I saw my older brother's 1967 jet black Camaro, I knew I loved muscle cars. The sheer power and beauty of them has overwhelmed me ever since. I believe for every person there is a car . My dad had a GTO. My brother had his Camaro. I have my Cutlass. I always thought a Corvette Stingray was my car but when I saw the movie "Demolition Man" I knew that Oldsmobile was for me! When I saw my car in the warehouse covered with dust and having all these bondo spots on her, I knew that she was calling out to me. So I traded my GTO and got her. I have never regretted that decision.
