1964 Cutlass Antenna

Anyone know how to get at the antenna on the passenger front fender? Mine needs replacing....

Will removing the cowl do the trick? Or will the fender need to come off?

You should be able to unscrew the bezel on the outside of the fender, allowing the body of the antenna to be pulled out from the underside of the fender.

63 64 cutlass antenna

I stripped out some 63 64 buicks last year and there is a panel under the wheel well has to come off ,to access the hold down for lower part of antenna ,once top and lower are unfastened it pulled out the hole in fender well . Not sure if cutlass is the same .

I had to unbolt the bottom mount and pull out the fender to reomve mine, the little screw on the brkt isnt fun but that way saves scratching anything.
