My "ride" is a 69 Sports Coupe. Originally it had the high compression 350.
Now has a smogger 455. Soon to have a 500 + HP 455 as soon as I have a couple of week ends to finish it.

Not really some days I drive them all. I do take a trip a week in each one of them about 150 miles both ways.

Keep it up, You need five post to get out of the Newbie section.

I don't necessarily have to post, I don't know that I have any wisdom to share. but it is very injoyable to read what everyone else has to say.

What does "Wisdom to share" have to do with Posting?

Look at the Clubhouse sections and threads.

Where you from?

Wait, we have to see pics of your progress. Wrench a little, take pics and post, wrench some more. That's the rule.

When you reply make sure you are in “Advanced” If it says post a “Quick reply” hit “Advanced”

Scroll down below the box you type in and hit “ Manage Attachments” A new box will pop up.

Hit “Browse”

The hit “Upload” and wait a few secs for the pics to up load. Then close this box.
Next you can hit “Preview Post and your pictures should be there.

There is a size limit on pics

Here is where I am now in this build.......My Son showed me a picture of what he wanted and I painted it. I didn't want to put the 68 stripe on a 69,....... but that's what he wanted.

neat color combo....

I like your color combo there. Very nice contrast. I like anything with a big block. I guess I'm a bit BB biased. Goes back to my days as a teenager. No repalecement for displacement as far as I'm concerned. Good luck with the new motor, Olds is pretty straightforward to work on. Nothing like working on these newer cars with all the electronics. Its nice to work on something that you don;t have to bust out a laptop to work on. Just a good ear and a heavy foot. Let us know if there's anything we can help you with. Oldsdroptop
