Advice 1965?

Just acquired a 1965 F85 Pretty much all original stock stuff

HOWEVER

It bounces, sags, and the sway bar end links are broken

+ it doesn't have the stock tires, it has a bigger set of tires that rub on the quarter panels when the car is turned fully left or right that I want to avoid but don't know where to start.

It will always have a small block olds in it so don't want to upgrade to the BB heavier springs. I want to keep the car light as possible.

What do people recommend for shocks struts, probably springs?

Eventually this will be a performance car. Brake will be upgraded to disk eventually. I don't know weather to get parts 'fixed' now and later upgrade them or up grade them now. I guess that depends on how much the performance stuff cost.

I would like to someday autocross the car for fun just to show how much performance suspension.

SO where do people like to buy from?

Bang for the buck you can't beat SPC arms with Howe tall ball joints in the front with Currietrac rear arms. I got all mine from sc&c.

Which package did you go with?

I bought the suspension book posted on SC and C website. That should give me some insight on the suspension I would like to create

Some of it is out of my budget

I know I need new springs, shocks/ bushings and sway bar end links. I would like to replace the upper control arms. It is the tires and rims that are going to zap most of my budget.

Do I need the Lower control arms replaced also? or could those wait and just replace the upper control arms?

Do the ones with the worst bushings.
Urethane bushings for the front sway bar make a big difference!

I used stock lowers with the the StageII+ kit up front, Lee steering box and stock sway bar. In rear I used Curritrac control arms and springs /shocks were Eibach and Bilstiens. My car handled like a modern sports sedan.
