street race stories

I dont know how everyone feels about street racing here, but i love to read and listen to stories of street racing. So lets hear some stories of you in your olds showing people who's boss.

I've been around alot of street racing and am lucky enough to still be here. Keep it at the track is all I have to say about this subject.

In my youth, when I was young and stupid, I did way too much. After, I crawled out from under an upside down convertible with a flatten windshield covered in gasoline, I had a "flash of sanity." and s-l-o-w-e-d way d-o-w-n.

As I've mentioned here before, I was at Yellow River Drag strip in 1969 and witnessed that aweful crash

When you witness bodies being hauled to hospitals and morgues in ambulances and every avaliable pickup truck it give you a different perspective.
