A bear tried to steal my 442
In the middle of the night an Ursus Americanus tried to tear into my garage and get my 69 442 convertible.
Anyone want a rug?![]()

Is the car an automatic or stick? Bears have a hard time using the clutch. If any more come don't leave the keys in it and make it easy.

![]() ![]() Hmmm..... If the bear returns and succeeds with the theft of Jamesbo's 442, perhaps he will then need to change his screen name to "bearsstolemyoldsmobile". ![]() ![]() ![]()

Jamesbo, you've got to learn to share with your bear. He might just be protecting your property from people.

You put the thing in your car with your new interior. Heck with cruise and power windows, it could probably drive it. Did you notice what he/she [gotta be PC here] did to that hard plastic drain pipe around the base of my stacked stone. It looked like it had been through a shredder.
This guy looks like he's waiting for you to bring him a margaritta. ![]() http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XB-vQ...eature=related

It would probably stay around longer, too! ![]() Jamesbo, was there any water in that pipe? If it has been as dry there as here, the critter may be just looking for water... I have heard of not feeding the bears, but I have never heard not to water them... Perhaps give them some water far away from your place?? ![]() ![]()

Your garage looks to solid with those stones on the outside. He must have realized that this was going to be too much work to get in there!

![]() My dogs would go nuts. Were you doing burnouts and he was attracted to the aroma of burning gourmet rubber? ![]() Fuzzy Wuzzy was some kind of soap that grew hair wasn't it? My soap in the garage sink does that but it ain't a Fuzzy Wuzzy. ![]() A nice bear rug would be a great conversation starter Rob. The ladies like furry creatures, they love Robin Williams and he looks just like a bear with his shirt off from the front or back. My good friend had a pet rat and his "Would you like to go back to my place and see my rat?" line worked great at bars. ![]() |

![]() I have a white and grey reindeer pelt in front of my fireplace that I dragged back from Finland 3 years ago; the ladies like it but it is too short to lay on and wrap up in. Even if they did, the hollow hairs would have 'em sweatin' out of it soon. ![]() I want a big brown (or black) bear rug that is big enough for two to wrap up in. ![]() Jamesbo, maybe there were some sort of critters living in that pipe that the bear was after... I had rats chewing into my drain pipes like that the past fall. I had a nasty dead one stuck in there, too; a huge rain finally washed it out...
